Volunteer TrainingAll of our training is delivered by a qualified NLP practitioner and trained facilitators. MAMAA trains all volunteers that work to support families or who take part in presenting our programmes. You do not have to be affected by violent crime to apply to be a MAMAA volunteer, but those who have been affected are particularly welcome, and have an important role within the organisation. Due to the sensitive nature of the work of MAMAA applications are subject to a selection process and CRB checks. As well as learning about victim empathy and understanding, you will be trained to work within MAMAA policy and procedure, ensuring that the families we work with receive the highest level of support and care. In order to be a MAMAA volunteer you will need to be able to commit to a minimum of eight hours per month, have a telephone line, computer and have basic computer and admin skills. If you are interested in working with MAMAA as a MAMAA volunteer please e-mail info@mamaa.org
