MARCH AGAINST KNIFE CRIME AND OTHER MARCHES
Concerts and marches are being held in different locations for rememberance of the young people who have lost their lives.

Liverpool Unites: Concert for Rhys will be held 15th August in Echo Arena, Liverpool. Rhys Jones was a victim of this ever increasing knife and gun crime and one of the youngest victims. If you live in the Liverpool Area please support this concert.

On Sunday August 17th, The Mix is being held at Burgess Park, Old kent road. The mix, which is organised by the youth (including myself) will hold a strong theme against knife and gun crime and I hope all the youth on the group can come and join us on the day.

Also The People's march will be held on 20th September, check out the facebook group http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=38285976512&ref=mf for more details

The Brent March for Peace is also being held on 20th September for the 'Not another drop campaign'

MARCH IN LIVERPOOL ON 31ST AUGUST

We have listened to your worries and concerns and think its time to act!

Term-Time is to take a stand against the impeding threat of violence young people in the UK face.

Marching through Liverpool City Centre on Sunday 31st August Term-Time would like to offer you, the Term-Time readers the opportunity to unite with us and join us in our quest to reduce violent crime in the UK.

The march involving hundreds of peaceful protestors will begin at 12pm and finish at 1pm. Starting at the Anglican Cathedral, walking through the heart of the city centre and finish at Derby Square (Liverpool Law Courts).

After the march Term-Time are to host a small scale event, finishing at 2pm. The event will feature some live entertainment, as well as guest speakers. There will also be a ‘Say No To Violence’ petition to sign, which our youth council members are to deliver to Number Ten Downing Street.

The march is being held in the memory of all the lives lost due to senseless acts of violence this year. Nearly 14,000 people last year were taken to hospital for injuries caused by knives and other sharp weapons. 446 of whom were no older than 14!

The aim is to raise awareness on the growing issue and bring our community together and lead by example.

We look forward to seeing you there!!!
