TAKE KNIVES NOT LIIVES

Take Knives Not Lives is a group set up to compile a petition, which will be presented to the prime minister, urging government to implement mandatory sentences to people caught carrying knives. Currently we wait to get tough until a serious injury or tragic death has occurred. We strongly believe that many young people currently carrying knives would put them down, if they saw tough sentences handed out to their peers. It's simple math. Less knives saves lives!!!! This petition is compiled in memory of Ben Kinsella and the countless others who have been taken from us all too soon through knife crime.

A petition website has been setup where you can sign your name, it will then be presented to Gordon Brown calling for mandatory sentencing for people carrying knives.
